FAQs
What is your filming style?
We deliver cinematic and documentary style films. Wedding films with lots of sweet words and poses have their place, but we aim to never be cheesy or awkward.
What's your day-of approach?
The way we treat a wedding day is very natural and candid. We love to hang back and capture you and your crowd reacting as if there is not a camera watching them. Because of this, we don't do a lot of posing. And when we do, it's quick and sweet and keeps you all at ease.
One cinematographer or two?
Having two cinematographers allows us to get BOTH of you getting ready, four camera angles of the ceremony, as well as more details and more time to ensure we have all the quality audio sources we need. During the ceremony, first dance/parent dances, speeches/toasts, guests and vendors often walk between you and the camera. Having extra cameras will allow more seamless cuts and transitions in your documentary film.
If you are not getting a documentary film, or don't feel a more polished one is necessary, you'll do fine with just one cinematographer.

Can you customize a package for us?
Of course! We are happy to discuss creating a package that fits your needs perfectly.
Do you offer discounts?
We do offer a reduction on dates from November to May, or weekday weddings year round. We understand weddings are a big investment and you are trusting us with an important part. So just ask, and we'll chat!
Do you require a deposit?
We ask for a 40% deposit and signed contract to reserve your date. The remainder may be paid any time before your wedding.
Who picks the music for our film?
We choose music from musicbed.com. Here we are able to obtain quality music and the copyrights to use it. So far we have always been able to find just the right song selection that fits our couple and the feel of their day.
Though we most often choose the track, we are happy to include you in that process. If you would like input, just let us know!

What gear do you use?
We use Sony A7S ii/iii, beautiful prime lenses, high quality audio equipment, and drones.
We DO NOT use bright lights and bulky equipment. We strive to do our part so that everyone feels like they are at a wedding and not on a film set.

Do you use a drone?
We would love to capture aerial footage of your wedding! Tell us the location of your venue and we will let you know if it is a fly zone.
When will we receive our films/footage?
We generally ask for 2-4 months turnaround time for films.
Do you have preferred vendors?
We love to meet and work with new vendors...but we do have a list of tried and truly amazing vendors!
Do you film outside of Brooklyn NYC?
Yes! We love to travel and would be happy to talk with you more about your destination wedding!
